We have both joined the Bunker Battle. The challenge was to choose a word pair, and go up against another author, with a story written for those word pairs.
From the challenge instructions, “The prompt we’ve given is not one word but two. These emotions are similar and we’d like you to show each of them distinctly within the story. And to make it even more challenging, you cannot use the words or their synonyms.”
